Warner Robins, Georgia- Frankie Geraldine "Deanie" (Fitzgerald) Evans, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2018. The visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The funeral services celebrating her life will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with interment immediately following at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Bobby Evans. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Alzheimer's Association or Meals on Wheels, 508 South Pleasant Hill Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088
Deanie was born on May 28, 1933 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Eddie Lee Fitzgerald and Mary Evelyn (Stokes) Davis. She was a graduate of the Irwinville Class of 1950 in Irwinville, GA. She was a devoted homemaker who always put her family first. Deanie loved the Lord and was an active member of Northside Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She loved to attend Sunday School, where she could fellowship and study with some of her closest friends. Deanie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Vicki Hutto (Cliff) and Angie Mullis (Jim) both of Warner Robins; 4 grandchildren: Erin Morton (Jonathan) of Bonaire, Jared Hutto (Deanna) of Bonaire, Mari Mullis of Atlanta and Morgan Mullis of Macon; 2 great-grandchildren: Jackson and Emery Morton and her devoted caregiver, Chakeyla Battle.
