Bruce Johnson Obituary
February 11, 1959 - May 1, 2018
Macon, GA- Bruce Johnson, age 59, died May 1, 2018. Mr. Johnson was the first son of Craig and the late Mariel Johnson and the owner of Commercial Furnishings.
Bruce was preceded in death by former wife, Lori Ann Wallace.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sarah Johnson, his son Kirk Johnson and his step sons Joshua and Joseph Huckeba and his three siblings, Sue Cunningham, Amy Ford and Tim Johnson.
Bruce was born in Pensacola, FL as a Marine Corps brat. He was raised in Michigan and graduated from Hillsdale College. In addition to owning Commercial Furnishings, Bruce was an avid golfer at Healy Point club. All of his friends know him as a diehard Michigan fan as well. Bruce contributed to many causes locally including Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia and The Macon Rescue Mission.
Please make donations to these causes in his name in lieu of other gifts. Memorial services will be performed Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, 31210. There will be a visitation for friends and family immediately following the Memorial Service.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Johnson family. So many great memories of Bruce from our Circle Group events and other Florida dealer gatherings. My sympathies. Great guy, I always enjoyed working with Bruce @ GOP and Dayton's Commercial Interiors, we shared many laughs at work and on the broomball rink and golf course during his time in Minnesota. May he rest in peace.

May he watch over his family. He was a really nice guy who I had a chance to spend time with only once. He took time to show around his place of business and supported my company. I pray for his family and they should only celebrate good times in the future.

I was very saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. In addition to meeting Bruce during the purchase of office furniture, I have had the pleasure of playing golf with Bruce in several tournaments. No matter how bad the golf was, a day on the course with Bruce was always a great day. He will be dearly missed.

BJ was a great friend. We can't imaging a future without him. He loved all of his friends and pursued relationships with us even when we lived far away from each other.
