Dear Family,
I remember Ruth's breadth of knowledge of local and Maine history which she shared with her flair for story telling, especially the often humorous
"asides" she'd add to each tale. I particularly enjoyed sharing rides to choir practice and the fun we had there, sorely trying Sally's patience, Im sure. I'll always fondly remember Ruth's strong alto voice, especially on those "ole" time hymns. She will not be soon forgotten by those who knew her. My sympathies to you all.

To all the family of Ruth Reed
especially Sally and Bill. She was a wonderful person and mentor, as I was playing basketball for JHS, as a coach she was great and taught us a great deal. I will always remember her with fondness.
May God Bless you at this time.

Cindy, Joanne, Thad and families, I am very sorry that Grammie Reed has passed. My sympathies to all of you. Just know that she is in a better place now with all her loved ones that have gone on before her and that she is no longer suffering.
