Patti King Obituary
Mansfield - Patti Lynn King, 55, of Mansfield, passed away late Friday afternoon, January 4, 2019, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born September 13, 1963, in Ashland, Ohio, to James and Evelyn (Markel) Biggs.
The youngest of eight children, Patti was quiet, reserved and very private. She enjoyed tracing her family's genealogy and discovering many facts about her ancestry. She worked at Schoonover Industries until 2004 and that is where she met the love of her life. Patti married Dale King on December 31, 1996, and they shared 22 wonderful years building their lives together. She was an avid reader and gardener, but her most important priority was her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dale King; two brothers, James (Sue) Biggs, Jr. and Larry Biggs; sister, Peggy Biggs; three sisters-in-law, Faye Biggs, Phyllis Biggs and Peggy (Brian) Besecker; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Bert. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roland Eugene Biggs and Robert Biggs; and two sisters, Darlene Biggs Hurst and Mae Gray; and grandparents, Archie and Alice Biggs and Oscar and Bernice Markel.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd.
