John, I only learned of your passing last night. I will always remember you as my big brother's friend who took us 4X'ing and scared the bejeezus out of me as a teenager in that giant blue 4 wheeler. Then of course you had to sell it to him so HE could scare the bejeezus out of me. Always thought of you as 'the big guy' with the great big smile. All fond memories. My family's condolences and heartfelt prayers to you and yours. You will be missed.

john, i can't believe i just found out now of your passing. i always thought we would get to meet again and im greatly saddened to know that isnt going to happen in this life. you were someone whom i looked up to for direction at a very tough time in my life and it always meant alot to me. i hope wherever you are that you r okay and maybe we'll meet again in another life. my heart and prayers goes out to you and your family. r.i.p. my old friend..

I have great memories of playing basketball with you at the park and talking about life's ups and downs. We would go home and have a hot cup of tea and exchange Sienfeld trivia questions...you always won, of course! You were the little brother I never had and will forever remember your smile and the way you lit up a room when you walked in. Soar with the angels, my friend, until we meet again and share a cup of tea.

John, you taught me how to Mountain Bike on Mt.Tamalpais during the early 1990's. I still have the scars to prove it buddy! Your zest for life was inspiring to me. The bike trips to Yosemite & Lake Tahoe were legendary; mountain bikes & dogs thrown in the back of your white pickup truck, while Pearl Jam & Nirvanna tunes were blasting away. You loved life, & life loved you back.

John, you were a bright blazing comet, streaking across my universe for a brief moment. Rest In Peace Brother.

John worked for me in in the Coast Guard after he graduated from YN "A" school. John was such a blessing in the office with his wonderful view on life. I was also fortunate enough to have also grown up in Thousand Oaks, so we always had plenty of memories to share with each other. My prayers go out to John's family, he was a good shipmate, friend, husband and father.

I grew up living the down the street from "JonJon" and babysitting him. I can still see him on his big wheel. He was one of my son's baseball coaches at San Marin and my son was saddened to hear he passed away. May you have strength to get through this tough time. Saying a prayer for the family.

My most prominent memory of John John is standing on my front lawn with Blake on your first day of kindergarten at San Ramon School, posing to get your photos taken. You were both wearing your Snoopy name tags and a broad smile. I will remember you with your broad smiling face and warm heart.
