I am very sorry to hear of the sad passing of Phillips. I had then pleasure of his company for a few years when he came to Dublin, where he joined up with my colleagues and I as part of our boat crew. With his leadership, coaching, skills and inspiration he led us to winning our regatta, giving us life long memories achieving a win some of us had waited 40 years for. He was great company socially, full of subtle wit and charm. A true gentleman. My deepest condolences to his wife Eileen and his family, May he rest in peace.

I worked with Phil at Bank of America and rode bicycles with him. He was a kind, loving, humble and giving man. He will be missed.

Hello...
This is Roland, one of Phil's brothers... thanks to all who have posted messages to this site. We greatly appreciate it. However, if you have the chance, please do not post here but rather to Phil's page on forevermissed.com. Each of these submissions are special, and greatly appreciated. We would like all of them to be together.
Again, thanks for visiting and for sharing your memories.
Sincerely,
Roland

Thank you Phillips, it was a great honour to race with you on the SB 20 in the local and Regional events in Dublin Bay, Ireland. Your demeanour and dedication to racing and teamwork made you a great person to share time with. I know you had a strong connection with my cousin Gavin. I wish you the very best on your voyage . My condolences to the Perkins family. Although it has been almost 40 years since I last saw him, that smile, his easy-going attitude and memories of playing gym hockey in the Lick gym are still vivid. Sounds as though he had a wonderful life that was cut short much too soon.
