Robert Clinton Pepper

Robert (Bob) Clinton Pepper Bob passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Sonoma at the age of 80. Bob resided in Mill Valley for over 45 years. A popular, successful artist, he was best known for his paintings of Marin and Yosemite. He was often quoted in Herb Caen's columns in the "SF Chronicle". An avid bicycle rider and hiker, he was often seen riding around Mill Valley. Among his many activities, he was a member of Big Brothers of Marin. Although Bob was never married, a loving family developed with his 30-year relationship as "Big Brother" to his "Little Brother", Rob Patterson. Bob was born in Detroit, MI, in 1926 and was a World War II veteran. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Journalism. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Dorothy White of Florida, his "Little Brother", Robert Patterson (Krisana) and children of Napa, California and Rob's mother, Patricia Patterson of Sonoma, California. Services Saturday, June 30, 2007 10:00 a.m. at the Tiburon Baptist Church, 445 Greenwood Beach Road, Tiburon, 94920.
