Larry Borders Obituary

MARION: Larry F. Borders, Sr., age 55, of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born July 23, 1954 in Salyersville, Ky. to the late Bill and Jenny (Tackett) Borders.
On September 4, 1999 he married Dusty (Lucas) Borders, she survives in Marion.
Larry was a resident of Marion most of his life where he was employed at Whirlpool Corp. in maintenance for 30 years, and in his free time he enjoyed hunting or just being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Dusty Borders of Marion, a son, Larry (Tangie Shuster) Borders, Jr. of Morral; two step daughters, Virginia (George) Hale of Morral, Crystal Mullins of Morral; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Borders of Marion, Lloyd (Marti) Borders of IL.; three sisters, Meddia (Charlie) Brubaker of Sidney, Oh., Hulda Borders of Salyersville, Ky., Mary (Tom) Smith of Iberia, Oh.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Borders, Amanda Borders; and one brother, Charles Borders.
Funeral services for Larry will be Thursday, February 4, 2010 11 a.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Delmar Marks and George Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge, Oh. Visitation will be held for family and friends Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 2- 4 and 6- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family of Larry F. Borders Sr. in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio.
