Teresa Ann Wigoda

Teresa Ann Wigoda, 65, of Salisbury Twp., died October 25, 2018 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the loving wife of Thomas S. Wigoda. They were married for 44 years in June. Teresa worked in various capacities for the past 25 years at the Lehigh Valley Health Network before retiring in April. For the past 10 years, she was the Administrator of Emergency and Hospital Medicine at LVHN. She served on countless committees to improve the quality of patient care and was instrumental in the development of multiple emergency departments, ExpressCare sites and major expansion projects. Born in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of John Torola of Hellertown, PA and the late Ethel (Rowlands) Torola. Teresa was a graduate of the California College of Health Sciences obtaining her degree in Health Care Administration. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Husband, Father, Sons: Brian T. Wigoda and his wife Tania of Marlton, NJ and Christopher J. Wigoda and his wife Lauren of Malvern, PA, Sister: Ethel wife of Patrick Dougherty of Mechanicsburg, PA, Grandchildren: Annelise Grace and Everly Grace and Nieces and Nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11 A.M. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Ave Allentown, Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 7 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown and on Wednesday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Church.
