Charles L. Baily
Charles L. Peanut Baily, 78, of Palmer Twp., passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro. He was born on December 31, 1931 in Wilson Boro. a son of the late Walter D. and Margaret Leidich Baily. Charles and his wife, the former Doris J. Tobias celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 16. He was employed as a draftsman for the former Ingersoll Rand Co. for 37 years until his retirement in 1992. Charles served our country in the US Navy as a Tin Can Sailor from 1951-1955 in the Korean War. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wilson Boro. Charles was also a member of the Brown and Lynch American Legion. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by a son Brett L. Baily and wife Robin of Allentown, PA; daughter Sheryl L. Phillips and husband David of Allentown, PA; a sister Norma Hudock of West Easton and a brother Wilbur Baily of Palmer Twp. A sister Doris Mann and a brother Lee Baily preceded Charles in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10am until 12pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Twp. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Contributions: Contributions may be made to the church, 2115 Washington Blvd., Easton, PA 18042 in memory of Charles.
