Marcia, please accept my sympathy. It's been many years since we shared an office at Kutztown, and I've had my taxes done at B-L since then, and it was only in filing them that I discovered this. Take care of yourself.

I remember Gene as the consummate hard-working professional and a super CPA. He was very helpful to me in the early 1990s when I was a young(er) professional and getting Agili off the ground. I will always be grateful to him for his encouragement.

I called on Buckno Lisicky for many years as a sales rep, and whenever I was at the firm and met with Gene he was always so nice and down to earth that you'd never guess he was the "big boss". Definitely
one of the nicest customers I ever dealt with! Condolences to Gene's family, friends and coworkers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Gene for almost 20 years as a commercial banker. He was an excellent CPA, a fine man and a true class act. I had the honor of sponsoring him when he joined LCC. The first time we played golf, before he joined, he had to borrow some clubs so he could play. He still beat me, he was a natural athlete. Gene was a credit to his family, his industry and his community.

Marcia and family,
Gene was a great person and mentor. Like many others I had the honor working with Gene while a student at Muhlenberg College on numerous audit engagements when he was a partner at Campbell & Grey. Through his encouragement I pursued a career in public accounting and later in private industry. Like Gene, I shared my accounting knowledge any experiences as an adjunct professor and visiting lecturer at Muhlenberg and Lehigh University after retiring. I remain forever grateful to this wonderful man. Rest in peace.

Donna and I offer the Marcia and the Buckno family our condolences on the loss of Gene. He was truly a great man.
I worked with Gene for ten years beginning as a Drexel intern from ‘74 through 78 and then full time until 1984. Professionally, he was truly an inspiration to me. I used what I learned from Gene throughout my own 43 year CPA career. His ethics were without peer.
I once told him that he was the “Pete Rose” of accounting. When most walked to first base, he ran. He seemed to like that reference.
The profession and the Lehigh Valley lost a great one.

I am sad to hear of Gene’s passing. I got to know him at the gym a few years ago. 5:30 AM work outs and he was always smiling and so kind to me. He was a man of great man and always greeted me with a warm hello. I felt it was an honor to get to know him. He was a true gift from God. My sympathies to his family and all who were blessed to know him. Thank you for being such a kind soul and always remembering my name. Rest In Peace ❤
