Anne Marie McInerney
Anne Marie McInerney passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on March 13, 2011 in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert M. McInerney Sr. They were married on October 21, 1950. She was a graduate of Allentown Catholic High School, Cedar Crest College, and received her Masters Degree from Lehigh University. Anne Marie was the Alumnae Secretary for Cedar Crest College, and was a past Assistant Supervisor of the Allentown Recreation Department. She taught English and Home Economics at Whitehall High School. Born in Pittsburgh, Anne Marie was the daughter of the late John L. McGonigle Sr. and Marie Cannon McGonigle. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church in Allentown, and was a dedicated choir member there for many years. Survivors: Sons, Michael J., husband of Barbara of Greer, SC, Robert M. Jr. of Kutztown, PA, Terence X., husband of Barbara of Fayetteville, NY, John L., husband of Susan of Blue Bell, PA; daughters, Marie, wife of Richard Baran of Bethlehem, PA, Patricia M., wife of George Gorge of Harleysville, PA; a sister, Dr. Patricia A. McGonigle of Bethlehem, PA; sister-in-law Mary McGonigle of Bethlehem, PA; 19 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Anne Marie was predeceased by her brother John L. McGonigle Jr. and her twin sister Mary Elizabeth McGonigle Duffy. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians. Interment will follow in the Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA. Calling hours will be on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. in the ODonnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Avenue Allentown, PA.

Mac & Family,
My thoughts & prayers are with you during this 'celebration of life' for your Mom. Be joyous in the fact that hers was a wonderful & full life. She was definitely one of the nice ones & I am better off in my life for knowing her.
