Robert Larish Obituary
Robert S. Squidge Larish, 52, of Duncannon passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Ritten House in Philadelphia surrounded by his loving family. He graduated in 1978 from Southern Lehigh High School. Robert was a girls softball coach for many years, and was very active in the Susquenita Field Hockey Boosters. He loved to build motorcycles, race cars, and was a NHRA/AHDRA/NHDRA champion drag racer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael R. Larish, and his sister, Linda L. Tirjan. Survivors: Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sherri L. Larish of Duncannon; two daughters, Tori L. Larish of Middletown and Casi L. Larish of Duncannon; his father, Richard E. Larish and wife, Gloria, of Allentown, PA; his mother, Jean A. Wetzel and husband, Paul, of Emmaus, PA; two brothers, Richard M. Larish of Allentown, PA, and Robert P. Wetzel of Lafayette, TN; three sisters, Stephanie J. Latshaw of Coopersburg, PA, Lisa Larish-Roth of Germansville, PA, and Tami M. Hunsberger of Allentown, PA; one son, Bobby Cerisano; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church, 115 Church St., Duncannon, PA 17020, with Pastor Elizabeth G. Martini officiating. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services. Arrangements are entrusted to Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home Duncannon. Bob's place in each of our worlds was to give each and every one of us the gift of life, because it was his example that reminded us to count each and every day as a blessing and to live life to the fullest of our potential and to appreciate and get the best out of each day despite the fact that "living" is often a road full of difficulties, challenges, set backs, and trials. And like an apostle, he also lived his life before us in a way that pointed to the love of God in our journey and the Hope of Glory in our final destination. Now he's gone on before us and he won't come back to us, but we'll all one day go to where he is, and when we get there we'll see that giant smile and those outstretched arms welcoming us to Heaven... Thanks Bobby for blessing me with your friendship and love... Vaya con Dios Hermano!!

Celebrating a life well lived. All will cherish the memories forever, who could ever forget someone as upbeat as Bob, he never had a complaint thru all the ups and downs he had over the last few years. He always had a joke or some crazy comment that would make you laugh. Sherri, Tori and Casi, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Bobby was a very special man that touched so many lives. All of his laughter, this jokes and his kind ways will always be remembered. He will be greatly missed not just by my family but by anyone that was lucky enough to cross his path.
