Roberta M. Schantzenbach

Roberta M. Schantzenbach, 88, of Lower Macungie Twp., died on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Phoebe Home in Allentown. Her husband, Charles H. Schantzenbach, died on August 24, 2010. Born in Lower Macungie Twp., she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Reda (Christman) Marsteller. She was a member and volunteer at St. John's Lutheran Church in Emmaus and was a graduate and class secretary of Emmaus High School, Class of '45. Roberta was a sewing machine operator for the former Emmaus Shirt Factory for many years. Survivors: Son, Rev. Scott Schantzenbach and his wife, Jody, of Oxford, NJ; Daughters, Sandra Berry and her husband, Scott, of Coopersburg and Susan Dolan and her husband, Thayer, of Oak Ridge, NC; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Helen Kressley and her husband, Neil; Brother, Edwin Marsteller and his wife, Evelyn; and Sister-in-Law, Arlene Marsteller Lichtnenwalner. She was preceded in death by a Brother, Alvin Marsteller, and Sister, Geneva Knepp. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut Street, Emmaus. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Interment in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
