I really enjoyed working with Benita at El Roble School and having Larry in my class. Benita always had a smile on her face, and was so pleasant to be around. My sincerest condolences to the family. I will keep her in my prayers.

Mrs. Reimal you were one to admire. I'll never forget all those times I came around the neighborhood and sold Girl Scout Cookies, Candles, candy. You always bought whatever it was I was selling. My condolences go out to your family.

My sincere condolences to the Reimal family. Jordan Elementary School was a special place in the 60's. It housed all the 5th and 6th graders in Gilroy. Many of the teachers were new to the district. Benita was one of us. Education was going through a revolution. We had double sessions, we changed students for math, kids were tracked....there was so much to learn....and we learned together. The group of teachers at the old Jordan School formed a strong bond. We eventually were relocated to other schools; but we all remained good friends over the years. It was a privilege to work with her. She was compassionate, dedicated to teaching, always seeking to improve, and most important, a wonderful warm human being....with that beautiful smile. I'm going to miss her. Rest in Peace, Benita Reimal.
