I have been Jimmy's daughter inlaw for over 20 years. He will be greatly missed by our family. It was a joy last year to see his excitment as he followed my son Alex though the all his world travels riding his bike(dont think anyne asked for more poster than Jim and Sheila). I was lucky to have been able to help in Jimmys care while his was ill.I had some wonderful talks with him during that time and am greatful to him for bringing me and my sister back together. Jimmy you will alway be missed, and never forgotten, we love you always

I have many memories of Jimmy...watching the nurses with Michael after he was born. Jimmy driving Tony up to San Francisco many times...family holidays when we came to town...walking to the beach in Aptos with Syd on her fourth birthday,and watching her ride her new bike...I am very grateful to God for having shared so much that is precious to me with Jimmy and Sheila. I have always loved sharing grandparenthood with you. Thank you for Shelly...When I woke up the morning that you passed, I didn't know yet that you had gone, but the thought of how you were doing was with me, and I thought I heard you say Have a celebration, and I kept thinking about making a turkey dinner like on Thanksgiving and I just smiled. Later that morning Shelly called to say you had gone, But I know that was your last message to me...on your way home, and I think you wanted me to share it. Love always and prayers.

Uncle Jimmy will be deeply missed all around by family and friends. I have so many great memories of Uncle Jimmy and Dad laughing and carrying on. It comforts me to know that they are now together. You are in my thoughts and prayers and wish I could be there with you all.

Sheila and family,
Yes, Jimmy did live the words he wrote. I will always remember his happy easy going way and smile. He is probably having a laugh with Dick right now. I will think and pray for you all.

To Jimmy's family;
We loved Jimmy and have wonderful memories from the past 40+ years. It was always a joy when Jim and Sheila would drop by for a visit. Most of the visit was spent laughing and telling stories. We will hold Jim in our memories always.

He was a friend to my brother, Bud, who passed away unexpectedly years ago. Jimmy was at the funeral and gave me a hug. He went to High School with Bud. I will remember him as a kind and loving man with a wonderful smile! He will be missed by many. Linda

Jimmy's house(and his whole family) was one of the only i places i felt secure and cared for as a child...i have SO many fond memories of him...mostly his light heart&laughter that brought so much joy to so many.I can still hear that laugh,it will always be a part of me.To the only man i ever considered to be a father to me and a grandfather to my children,thank you for everything you did to make us feel special&loved,but then again,what else would he have done?That was Jimmy's nature-to love and be loved...forever in our hearts,Kimmer,Jerry,Zoe&Quinn-mahalo nui loa and a hui hou
