John Granata Obituary

John Salvatore Granata, Sr. Oct. 5, 1926 - Sept. 9, 2008 John Salvatore Granata, age 81, Loving husband, father and friend; died on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 following a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma; 4 Children John Jr, Matthew (Jeannie), Christina Garcia (John), Daniel (Dawn); 8 grandchildren Marc, Stacie Rohn (Jared), Aubrey Pike (Dave), Jacqueline, John & Kathleen Garcia; Alexis, Joseph & Jaycob Granata; as well as 3 great grand-children, Caroline & Emily Rohn; and James Pike. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all those that were blessed enough to have crossed his path. Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4600 Hyland Ave., San Jose, CA 95127.
