In the 1980s I was proud to work at the Palo Alto art store run by a stylish pair of sisters. It was a busy place back then, with dozens of employees. Seeing Laurie come downstairs could put the fear of God into most of the staff, but it was a good place to work. RIP Laurie Cappiello!

I was always impressed when meeting with Laurie. She had a wit and humor that let you know she was enjoying life and was not going to have it any other way. She will be missed.
