Gerald Shurtleff Obituary

Gerald Ramsden Shurtleff Jan. 12, 1933 – August 19, 2007 Beloved husband of Dolores "Dee" Shurtleff of Hollister. Anative of Ogden, Utah; a former resident of San Jose. Served with the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. A retired electrical engineer who was the Project Manager of the Caruso Nuclear Power Plant in Italy and Project Manager for the Titan IV at Chemical Systems. He enjoyed the out-of-doors fishing, hunting, and golfing. An avid 49er and Giants fan. In addition to his spouse, surviving are his children Joni Chandler of Utah; sons Steven and Ryan of California; step children Sandy, Silvia, Art, and Steve also of California; and 16 grandchildren. "He Will Be Greatly Missed!" Private cremation and inurnment has been held. Donations are preferred to the Cancer Society c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Chapel, 870 San Benito St., Hollister 95023. A website in memory of Gerald was created by Dee Shurtleff.
