Virginia Boland Obituary

VIRGINIA L BOLAND Virginia L Boland died peacefully at the age of 92 on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was the youngest daughter of John & Lillian Myers and sister to Margaret Gairrett and Harold Myers. All preceded her in death. Virginia married John A. Boland (who preceded her in death) on May 11, 1958, and they made Moberly their lifelong home. John & Virginia had one daughter, Cheri. A devoted member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church and beloved by the toddlers in her Sunday School class, God always came first in her life. Her legacy of love will live on in the many hearts she touched. Virginia worked as the bookkeeper for Moberly Electric Supply for over 60 years, making many friends during that time. Virginia is survived by her daughter Cheri Voss and husband Rob, of Pontiac Missouri. Three grandsons and spouses and three great-granddaughters along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Carpenter Street Baptist Church. Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025, 11 am 1 pm, at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services honoring and celebrating Virginia's life will follow at 1 pm. Committal prayer and burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
