David Shane Williams was born August 2, 1965, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO, to Larry Wayne Williams, Ima Jean Williams, and big sister Angela (Williams) Balke.
David worked in construction before becoming disabled. He worked hard and enjoyed gardening and creating art. He loved God, his family, friends, and animals. He enjoyed being together with friends, family, food, and good music. Laughing and being silly and light-hearted.
David went to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, on December 10, 2025, at 10:25 am at the University Hospital with his mother, Ima Williams, by his side.
David's father, Larry Williams, had already passed before David. Survivors include David's mother, Ima Williams, Sister Angela (Williams) Balke and husband Harald, Nieces and nephews,Angela (Stafford) and (Jeremy spouse) Simmons, Daniel and (Tricia spouse) Stafford, Christopher Stafford, and Tanya Wells,as well as many great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Though his earthly journey had challenges, his unwavering spirit and deep faith inspired all. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a reminder to cherish every moment.
He now rests in God's eternal peace, finding joy in the beauty of His creation, a love reflected in every creature and kind soul he met. His spirit lives on in the blooming flowers of spring.
We will be having a celebration of life in the springtime at Rothwell Park in Moberly. The date and time have not been set as of yet.
