Janet Teicheira Obituary
1950-2014
Janet Marie Teicheira passed away suddenly in her home at the age of 63. She was a generous, kind, giving, spiritual woman that was loved by everyone who knew her. Her smile and laugh were contagious and will be missed by many. Janet graduated from Manteca High in 1968 and received her AA Degree from Delta College in 1970. She worked in Manteca at Honey's Appliance Store and Jersey Crown Dairy before she settled at Foster Farms in Modesto. She retired after 26 years to spend more time with her family. She survived by her mother Mabel Teicheira of Manteca, Brother - Bob Teicheira (Carolyn) of Los Banos, Nephew - Robert Teicheira (Luneida) of Los Banos, Cathy Morelli (Rob) of Denair and Tonya Nunes (Aurelio) of Los Banos. The highlights of her life were her great nieces and nephews, Axel, Austin, Arin Janet, and Abbie Morelli of Denair, Taylor, Branden and Stacia Teicheira of Los Banos, Breanna and Patrick Nunes of Los Banos. She had a huge extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins that she loved dearly!
She was preceded in death by her father Tony Teicheira, her paternal grandparents Joseph and Mary Teicheira. Maternal grandparents John & Anna Baptista, and Manuel & Mary Pimentel.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, M.R.P.S, Portuguese Fraternal Society of America, and LUSO. Her hobbies included watching her nieces and nephews activities, bowling, watching sports on TV., and taking care of her cats.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Teicheira family. A viewing will be at P.L. Fry 290 N. Union Road - Manteca, Wednesday February 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Rosary and Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church 525 E. North Street in Manteca on Thursday, February 13th at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to MRPS Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 25 Manteca, CA 95336 or the charity of your choice.

I went to school with Janet we rode the bus together everyday. Even though we did not keep in touch after graduation I never forgot her and her sweet smile. I was sorry to hear of her passing. I pray that God gives her family the peace and comfort that only he can give.

For the short time I knew Janet she was the type of person you could talk to and laugh with. She will be missed. I will especially miss seeing her big smile,warm heart and her laughter at all of our games. My heart goes out to to grandma and all the family. Our dear, sweat cousin Janet will be so very missed. Her infectious smile will remain in my memory forever. Always happy & always positive. Such a beautiful person that we will always remember. Our love & prayers go out to Janet & her amazing family. xo
