Robert Preston Obituary

Robert "Bob" Junior Preston, age 90, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 after a brief illness.
Bob was born on May 3, 1930, in Flat Rock, Michigan, to Earl "Red" and Laura (Bonk) Preston. He went to Monroe High School and married Madonna Mary Boudrie on February 26, 1949. The couple had 3 sons and were married for 67 years before her passing in 2016.
Bob worked at the Wayne Car Assembly plant, Teamster Local #299, for 25 years, retiring in 1990.
Bob was greeted in Heaven by those who preceded him in death, including his wife: Madonna (Boudrie) Preston, his son: Robert Earl Preston, his granddaughter: Charissa Melanie Preston, his grandson: Ross Gordon Preston, and three of his brothers: Richard Preston of Monroe, Gerald Preston of Hayward, California, and James Preston of Clearwater, Florida.
Bob will be missed dearly by his siblings Myrtle Greer and Bill Preston of Monroe, sons Tim (Kathy) Preston of Douglasville, Georgia, and Dave Preston of Monroe, daughter-in-law Lesta Preston of Ann Arbor, as well as his 10 surviving grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place in Monroe and Bob's ashes will be spread, along with Donna's, on the land they lived on and loved together.

My dad was friend of Bob's. Larry Lawson. I have a picture of my parents wedding photo and Bob was his best man. Prayers. Sorry to read this. I now live in Tennessee.
