1930-2011
Peacefully and with dignity at the Montreal General Hospital on Sunday, August 28, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of fifty-seven years to Annie Godecki. Loving father of Nancy, Thomas (Claude) and Cathy. Loving and supporting grandfather of Edward and Matthew. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the Balfour Mount Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital and nurse Marie Lecavalier.
Visitation to be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 1640 Cote Vertu, St. Laurent (514-331-1104) on Thursday, September 1 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Chapel service to be held on Friday, September 2 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donation to the Balfour Mount Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Annie & the family for their loss of a husband, father & grandfather.
Sonny will always be remembered for his response & sharp wit in any discussion.
He alway took on willingly any assignment at work, whether it was in the Cleaning, Lighting or Security Divisions.
I am sure he will be greatly missed by family, friends & colleagues from work that he kept in touch with.

Uncle Sonny was more than a special uncle, he was a very special friend. Uncle Sonny would always end a phone call by saying,"Good bye and stay loose". At this time that is very hard to do.
