1936 - 2013
Halyna Rubas, of blessed memory, fell asleep in the Lord on October 11, 2013. Mourned by family in the U.S. and Ukraine, most especially by cousin Walter Wolansky of Philadelphia, by Fr. Ihor Kutash and his family, whose devoted assistant she was for over 27 years, as secretary, and very many friends, especially Tanya, Slava and Andrei Goriunov, and Mary Wodzicki, to name but a few. Resting at Alfred Dallaire Memoria (3254 Bellechasse). Visitation on Wednesday, October 16 from 2:0 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. with Panakhyda at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 17, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thence to St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2246 Boul. Rosemont, at 7:30 p.m. with Panakhyda at 8:00 p.m., and the Funeral on Friday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. Predeceased by parents Wasyl and Anna. After years of loving and cheerful service to others and courageous bearing of adversity, finally at peace in the Heavenly Mansions.
