Karoline KOPPOLD Obituary
(Nee Rammerstorfer)
1929 - 2012
Karol died peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on Monday, May 14, 2012, in her eighty-third year. Dearly beloved wife of Alexander Koppold for 61 years. She will also be missed by her sisters Maria and Paula, their families and her many relatives in Linz, Austria. She will also be sadly missed by relatives in Germany, Helena, Robert, Johann, Stefy, Rudi and Nancy, and Alex's sister Zlata and her family in Slovenia. Special thanks to her friends Elsa and Jennifer, and to all those who came to the hospital to comfort her. We wish to thank the worshippers of St. Edwards the Confessor for their prayers. Thank you to Dr. Fasie and the staff of the 4th floor of the Lakeshore General Hospital and to the West Island Palliative Care Residence for their compassionate care. At Karol's request there will be a service at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, DDO (514) 685-3344 on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations in Karol's memoryto the West Island Palliative Care Residence or the Lakeshore General Hospital.

Dear Alex,
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Karola. She was such a kind and loving person and just thinking of her always makes me smile. May the love and care of freinds and family bring comfort to you and may loving memories heal your heart. God Bless.
