In her ninety-second year, on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Wife of the late Dr. Sam Rabinovitch. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Marlene Rabinovitch and Dr. Richard Bland, Dr. Mark Rabinovitch and Peggi Cohen. Proud grandmother of Arielle Rabinovitch-Roth and Yaakov Roth, and Robert Rabinovitch. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Geffin. Predeceased by her brother, Phillip, and her brothers-in-law, Boaz, Phineas, Jacob and Irving Rabinovitch. Shirley will be sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, the extended Bland, Kirkpatrick, Ault families, and by Alex Cohen. The family would like to thank Dr. Julian Falutz and the nursing staff of the 13th floor East at the Montreal General Hospital. Special love and gratitude to her outstanding caregivers, Marlene, Josie, Davina, Melissa and Marilet. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, July 16 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Peggi and Mark's home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
