Arthur DreVon McLemore, 32, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Lorain. He was born October 20, 1988 and was a lifelong resident of Lorain. He attended Body of Christ Church in Lorain and was employed at Invacare in Elyria. He enjoyed spending time with his two amazing children, JaBre’A Lashay McLemore and Arthur DreVon McLemore, Jr., spending time with family, listening to music, dancing, playing cards, and telling jokes. Arthur was always seen with a smile on his face and brightened up every room he walked into.He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Smith; maternal grandparents, Manuel McLemore and Ida Lee McLemore; paternal grandparents, Roosevelt Smith and Leola Smith (née Griffin); an uncle, Eric R. Smith; an aunt, Betty Hill; and a nephew, Darieon Farris.Arthur leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jenny Sue McLemore-Smith; his children, JaBre’A Lashay McLemore and Arthur DreVon McLemore, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Hermanda McLemore, Anthony “Tony” Penny, Ayanna McLemore-Turner, Tobany James, Vonnetta McLemore, Shayla (Preston) Smith-Curtiss, Travis Everson, Kia Wrice, Dontae Spearman, Artra (Fred) McLemore, and Joshua “Josh” Grant; 16 nieces; 9 nephews; five uncles; nine aunts; special friends, Boi-Boi, “T,” Tevin, Lil “E,” White Boy Cory, John-John, “D” Will, and Matt Yost; and a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until time of homegoing services at 1:00 p.m. at Church on the North Coast, 4125 N.
