I never called Richard by his first name! As a young girl, I guess I was afraid of him! He was so good to me and understood that I was from a poor family. I will always treasure my experience working in the store and having had such a wonderful role model.

I worked at Kerr Jewelry for three years while I was in high school. Dick was a wonderful boss and I learned so much from him and his father. When my husband and I wanted to get engaged, Dick made sure that I had a nice diamond, even though we were poor college students. I loved him and I treasure my relationship with him and the store.
