Robert Truex Obituary

Robert Truex, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2005.

He was born June 9, 1937 to William Roy Truex and Ruby Long Truex in Midland, Texas and was raised and educated there. Robert was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, W. R. Truex, sister, Belinda Merriman, brothers, Eldon Truex, Neil Truex, Sr., and Gary L. Truex.

Robert is survived by his mother, Ruby Long Truex of Midland, TX; his siblings, Lois Ruth Friedrichs, Noel Truex, Ronald Truex, Patricia Boydstun and Dearl Truex. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 26, 2005 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Myron Unruh officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Campbell, Gary Truex, Neil Truex, Jerrod Truex, Stephen Truex and Robert Friedrichs. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy White, James Friedrichs, Jimmy Friedrichs, Dr. Robert Vogel and Keith Ward.
