Dear Family and Friends,
Mr. Bullard was my grade school band director and gave me piano lessons for about four years in the late 1950's. His eternal patience with my sorry piano skills always always left me with a feeling of willingness to try one more time. I will always be grateful not only for his teaching me music but also for the love of music which I have retained throughout my life.

Mr. Bullard and Sunnyside/MacArthur band were such a big part of my childhood. He was such a wonderful, caring, patient man who would do anything for the love of his students and music. Rest in peace, Bob. The world has lost a wonderful man.

My sincere condolences to Bob's family. It has been many years, but I was a friend of Bob's sister Joyce and lived with the Bullards in Maywood for a year after high school. Such a nice family.

As the Vocal Music Teacher at Komarek, Bob and I were great colleagues and friends. After retirement, we enjoyed monthly luncheons with our mutual teacher friends. Bob loved music, and I was proud to know such a talented wonderful man. My condolences to his family who will miss him, greatly.
