AGE: 69 • North Brunswick
Assaad Y. Assaad, of North Brunswick, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway, NJ. He was 69. Born in Mtolleh Lebanon, he lived in NYC before moving to North Brunswick 27 years ago.
Assaad owned a Yellow Cab in New Brunswick, for 30 years. He was a communicant of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Full of life, he loved singing, dancing and listening to music. He enjoyed working outside and especially gardening. Most of all he loved his wife, children and his family.
He's predeceased by his parents Youssef and Naemeh (Eid) Assaad; and his sisters Sameera and Samia Eid.
Surviving is his beloved wife Fauz "Fou Fou" (Azzi) Assaad; his son and daughter Julian and Jeannine Assaad, both of North Brunswick; his brothers Samir and Samih Assaad, both of Lebanon and Bassam Assaad of Bloomfield; his sisters Mouna Youssef and Jamale Eid, both of Lebanon; and also many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016, 10:30 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
