Francis Vecchio Obituary

Francis Del Vecchio

Chesapeake, Virgina - Francis M. Del Vecchio, 73, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 after a long struggle with cancer. Born in Plainfield, he graduated from Plainfield HS in 1964. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp from 1965 to 1969 and completed his tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He worked for the McDonalds' Corporation before founding his own company, Michael's Mechanical in 1993. He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Candace Del Vecchio and his brother John Jr.

Surviving are; his wife of 12 years Barbara; his daughter Lori (Anthony) and son Michael (Amie) and sister Jean. Also, 5 grandchildren, Angelica, Alexis, Michael A., Michael F., and Anthony.

A Memorial Gathering for relatives and friends will be offered on, Saturday, Jan. 18th, from 11am to 1pm at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Francis's memory to your favorite charity, would be appreciated.
