HARRIET BORESEN
AGE: 84 EDISON
Harriet E. Boresen died on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at J.F.K. Medical Center, Edison. She was 84.
Born in Paterson, she resided in Jersey City and Colonia before moving to Edison five years ago.
Mrs. Boresen was a legal secretary with the law office of Herbert Winokur in Jersey City for 25 years before retiring in 2004. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Rahway.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Boresen in 1990 and two sisters, Margaret Schrock and Helen DiLoretto.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn C. Boresen of Woodbridge and Donald R. Boresen of Scotch Plains; four grandchildren, Karen L. Lyman, Andrea M., Todd R. and Timothy P. Boresen, and three great-grandchildren, Madeline and Shayne Boresen and Caitlyn Lyman.
Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green St., Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today, Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, N.J. Chapter, 200 Middlesex Turnpike, Iselin, NJ 08830.
