Harold Miller, Esq. Obituary
AGE: 91 • Perth Amboy
Harold Miller, Esq., 91, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 at the New Jersey Veterans Home, Edison, with his family by his side. Harold was a life long resident of Perth Amboy. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War with the Army Corp of Engineers. Hal had his practice in Perth Amboy for over 25 years and he retired in 2012. He was a former member of the Raritan Yacht Club, communicant of the Blessed John Paul II Parish at St. Mary's RC Church, and a member of the NJ Bar Association, a member of the Board of Adjustments and various organizations throughout the community.
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Ella "Grace" (nee Ballenger) who passed away in 1989; loving son of Hans J. and Helen (nee Sokolinski); dear brother of John "Art" A. Miller. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Candy and her husband Don Zupko; adored grandfather of Courtney Handy, Crystal Carroll; cherished great-grandfather of Vienna and Aidan Stack and Liam Handy.
Visiting is Friday, August 15, 2014 from 3 ~ 5 pm at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Burial is Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
