Robert Hackman  Obituary

MOUNTAIN TOP — Robert F. Hackman, 80, of Mountain Top, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at his residence with his family at his side.

Born in Youngsville, he was a son of the late Michael and Julia (Fedorchuk) Hackman.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Mountain Top. He was also a member of the Dorrance Township American Legion, Post 288, and was associated with the following; FRA, USS Fulton (AS-11) Reunion Association, USS Orion (AS-18) Veterans Historical Organization, Saratoga (CV-60), and the U.S. Navy Memorial.

Robert was preceded in death, in addition to his parents by his first wife, Dixie Lee (Darr) Hackman, who passed away on Nov. 1, 1988; his daughter, Kimberly Lynn Doninetz; and his brother, James Hackman.

Robert is survived by his second wife, the former Anna Bell Kline; sons, Mitchell Hackman Sr. and his wife, Michelle, of Kemner, Texas, and Dallas Hackman Sr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Pottsville; step-children, George Kline and his wife, Karen, of Inverness, Fla., David Kline and his wife, Sheri, of Mountain Top, Thomas Kline and his wife, Theresa, of Mountain Top, James Kline, of Mountain Top, Julie Williams and her husband, Terry, of Littlestown, Jody Cavazos and her husband, Adan, of San Antonio, Texas, and Anna Richardson and her husband, Scott, of Danville. He is also survived by his sisters, Marie Zelazowski and her husband, Ronald, and Norma Joan Olson; and his step-sister, Nancy Trisket, all of Warren; and his seven grandchildren, 24 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Christ United Methodist Church, 175 S. Main Road, Mountain Top, with Pastor J.P. Bohanan officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Albert Cemetery, Mountain Top. Relatives and friends are invited to call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Christ United Methodist Church to the Mortgage Reduction Fund, or to the Mountain Top Food Bank, both at 175 S. Main Road, Mountain Top, PA 18707.

Dear Ann and family,
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. So hard to believe I was just sitting thinking of you both and smart phone in hand found the obituary. Kind of how we so strangely met in Florida after your (Ann)
Mother taught me in elementary school . After meeting we enjoyed a wonderful time with you and Bob , he was a very interesting man to listen to. I'm sure you know just ask God's help and guidance and he will see you through. Bless you and the entire family.
