Dr. John Joseph McCann

My deepest sympathies to the family of Dr. McCann. He was my optometrist for 40+ years. He also took care of my grandparents as well as my father. I have great memories of my visits to his office on Ottawa street. Dr. McCann would allow me to sit in the back room and watch him with his "magic sand" as he adjusted my glasses. Dr. Mc Cann was a special person. I feel your pain as my father passed away on September 09/04. It is a difficult time. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Thanks to all who wrote or called or came to the funeral --- I was surprised at the power of the love and support expressed by family and friends to bring solace, comfort and much happiness to what would otherwise have been the saddest days of my life.

Joe was a great husband and a remarkable father --- he will be missed.
