Not sure what to say?

Helen was my great grandmother and on behalf of my family we want to say thank you all for the condolences and for sharing your memories. It touches our hearts that her students still remember her fondly. Thank you for your kind words.

Sincere condolences. Helen Shutt was my Grade 7 teacher at Barclay school in 1959. I remember her well. She was a wonderful teacher, so kind. She lived a long and fruitful life. Many wonderful memories. Linda Kashner

I was a student of Mrs. Shutt in Barclay school for 7th grade. She was a wonderful teacher and I remember her very well. Nice to see that she lived a long life with grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. R.I.P. Sandra Small

I too had Mrs Shutt as my teacher at Sinclair Laird. I recognized her from her picture. She was a good teacher.
Rest in peace.

Dear Barbara, Although you likely do not remember me, I was a contemporary of yours at Barclay School in the 1950s, and your mother was my teacher in Grade 5. I remember Miss Shutt... and the wonderful textbook we used.

I was lucky enough to have had her as a grade one teacher in Sinclair Laird in the school year from September 1971 to June 1972. She was an excellent and very smart teacher. She helped teach me to read. I remember the textbook we used Little White House.
Rest in Peace Miss Shutt, you've touched the lives of thousands of students.
My condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathies, may you remember her fondly, I know I will, She was my first grade teacher at Sinclair Laird school in Montreal. This photo is how I remember her. She was a careing and gentil teacher who I still remembering after 50 years.
May she rest in peace
