Heartfelt condolences are extended to your family at this difficult time. Seek the love and support God provides to help you cope during this time - Psalms 29:11

I have many fond memories of the time spent teaching with Connie. What a wonderful role model she was! My condolences to the family.

Mrs. Tate, as I knew her in 1989, was my kindergarten teacher. I have many significant memories of her and our classroom that year. Since then, I also enjoyed running into her at music events around the city, and reading her well-chosen words in her letters to the editor. Her memory and enthusiasm for her former students was remarkable!

Connie opened the door to school, at Holliston, for our three children, two as students and one as a wannabe. It was a joyful entry, for which I as a parent, have always been grateful. Her pedagogy included the immersion of learning skills in fun.

Dear Kyle, Jeff, Leah, Benjamin & Jaden....I'm so sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers to you all.

My heartfelt condolences to Connie's family. Connie was a big part of my mum's life and she became a surrogate momma to me after my mum died. I used to love catching up with her when she would come through Vancouver on her many road trips with Joe.

Connie Tate Abrook was instrumental in the works of the Early Childhood Education Council in it's earlier years. She was a dedicated early learning teacher and hardworking member of the Saskatoon Local and Provincial ECEC organizations and was honored with our Life Membership Award. Our condolences to her family and to all who knew her. (Sask ECEC) http://www.saskecec.ca/blog/posts/life-member-condolences.html

Connie will be missed - she was a staple in the audience of symphony events and concerts in the city. Such a loss from our music community.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss Joe. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family at this very sad time.
