So sorry Betty to hear about Ron's passing. He preached the very first time I attended Zion-Memorial when we moved to Carleton Place 35 years ago. (The minister was on holidays) He made me feel very welcome to the choir, as did you.

Dear Betty and family,
My sympathy on Ron's passing. He and I shared time on the Board of the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital, as well as in the choir of Zion-Memorial. We were fellow Trustees of the church as well. I consulted his work on the history of Zion-Memorial just a few months ago. Ron was a most reliable and hard working volunteer, with a ready smile. He made a significant contribution to the church and the hospital.
