Susan and family, your mom was a special friend and we enjoyed many times on the ball field and off. I remember her wit and always her lovely accent. I am sure Judy and Anne will be there to relive all our ball escapades. I also send my condolences to and you and yours regarding your dear brother. Perhaps we will get together in the summer of 18.

We were away in Maui when I heard of Betty's passing. I am so sorry for your loss Susie. I wished I could have made her funeral. You were the best daughter a mother could have the way you loved Betty and cared for her. Like her obituary mentioned, I was one of the fortunate ones to know Betty's smile and spirit. How appropriate that Betty was from Williamsport. She loved baseball. I had the pleasure of knowing Betty somewhere in the late 70's in Calgary as part of the Lake Bonavista Ladies softball team, the Regard Rebels. I was one of a handful of "youngsters" on the team, and Betty had more life experience and was willing to share it with us.
