Not sure what to say?

I met Hans when I was cleaning houses. He was always home when we cleaned his place and he always asked if we had time for a tea afterwards. He loved to share his stories and his photos with us. I think it was a birthday and he took us out for lunch. He insisted I try the wine (I was not a fan of wine) and on that day I found my favorite wine. It’s funny because every time I see the wine on a list or pour myself a glass I think of Hans and how kind and generous he was.

I just read of professor dommasch's passing in the green and white. He was my professor of photography in the late 70's. He instilled in me a love of photography and to look for the light and unique settings. I still take many many photographs and I see his influence in them. Thank you for being such a kind, gentle and knowledgeable instructor.

Hans was an amazing person. He was very generous with his time whenever I wanted his advice on photography. I remember auditing his classes, traveling to off-campus locations where the two of us would hold photography workshops through the U of S Extension program, and being his darkroom instructor for night classes he used to teach. I still have a photograph of his on my wall from a show many years ago. A truly generous person and passionate photographer.

Hans was a cherished friend and mentor.

Goodbye my friend,paul atkinson Kelowna.

I never knew Mr Dommasch but his story is an impressive testimony to a life well lived. He left the world a better place
