Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Mr. Vien's passing, and this over a year later! I grew up on the same street and was very good friends with his son Brian who I have lost touch with. I will always remember Mr. Vien's smile and convivial manner. He must have been a great teacher.

Mr Vien taught me AutoCAD at Dawson in the late 80's before classrooms had Personal Computers. The software existed on a mainframe system. He used to warn us that if we initiated too many commands at the same time, we could end up in outer space.
Dearly missed...

Joe was a great father-in-law, grandpa and father. He was a big part of our lives, especially our daughters. We had a lot of fun playing tennis and sharing family vacations together over the years. He will be missed. RIP.
Neil

Dear BrianPlease accept our condolences. We only just found out about Joe's passing
from our son Eric . We are currently in Florida but will be sure to meet up and raise a glass in Joe's memory, when we return to Montreal.
I can still see the two of you on your daily walks and remember how our CJ would pull on his leash whenever he spotted Joe , and how indulgent Joe was with CJ.
Do take care Brian and cherish those wonderful loving memories .

Sincere condolences to those who surviive him.

I was one of his technical drawng students at Montreal Institute of Technology before the inception of t
the C.E.G.E.P. system.

I am glad that we did so. The conversation was lively and we had a few drinks with our meal. I will have a good thought for all of you.
