So very sorry to hear this. I was thinking about Don tonight - somehow I knew something had happened. He was such an important part of my professional development and I learned so much from him. I also have many happy memories of times spent with Carolyn, Eric and Dirk (and dear Cindy too). I will keep those precious memories close and hope for a chance to see you sometime soon, Carolyn. Remember that we live in West Vancouver and you are welcome any time. My deepest sympathies.

I always enjoyed my time with Don, especially our many golf games together. He had a great sense of humour. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolences to Caroline and Don's whole family. He was a wonderful man and contributed so much to health promotion in Canada. I was saddened to learn tonight of his passing.
