Beatrice LAWRENCE-DUERN

I know it is four months since the passing of Beatrice but I must say that she will forever be a part of my life story. I think that when we spent hours walking around Home Depot looking at ways to improve her home was when we truly bonded, just us. I was her maid of honour when Normand and Beatrice married at st. Beatrice and I were friends in graduate school and met intermittently in the years since. I was impressed in her varied life experiences including publishing in the prestigous journal Science on bat echolocation. I am sorry to have found out that she passed so soon. Susan Kelen

Although we had lost touch over the past several years, we remember with fondness the wisdom and kindness that characterized Beatrice's warm personality. She and I enjoyed exchanging advice when we embarked on our careers in psychology. David and I later enjoyed hers and Normand's friendship and hospitality. She will be missed.
