I regret not being able to join you in Montreal on April 14, to share the memories of your Parents. I am probably the only living Poliish engineer- emigrant, out of the few who, like your Father, were at the time starting their professional carrier, and a new life in Canada in the 50's. I vividly remember the frosty January morning in 1952 in Sherbrooke, when walking to work along the windy viaduct on Belvedere Street, to my first job in the factory...

May you find comfort in the fond memories you share of your mom and dad. We are thinking of you and sending prayers your way as you celebrate lives well lived and legacies left behind.

My condolences to the children of Pan and Pani Peplowski, whom I remember from Sherbrooke, with fondness. I would see your Dad walking the dog on occasion as I jogged past their place on Lakeshore Rd. He would ask about my parents, and especially about my Meissner relatives, whom he was friends with.
Your Mom had beautiful piercing eyes, and I loved how she spoke Polish with an Italian accent!
