Dear Marilyn
Please accept Karl's and my condolences for your loss. John was one of those rare individuals who inspired everyone around him to try a little harder, to be a little nicer and to improve our corner of the world a little bit.

Marilyn, our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Myron & Priscilla

One Easter, Mary Pat and I each wore a hat that had a large opening at the top of the hat, leaving the top of our heads visible. Johnny, seeing us in our open topped hats, nicknamed each of us "Pop Open Head". From that time on, whenever we saw Johnny, we would all call each other "Pop Open Head".It was such a Truxton endearment. We loved Johnny.

I knew John when we were teenagers in McGraw while visiting my relatives who lived across the street from the Ryans. His sister Kay & I camped out together. I have followed his successful career and was sad to learn of his death. My condolences to his family.Remember all the good times you had together.
