Arletta J. Hemphill

Hello Dorris, Johnnie and the rest of the family! Just recently my thought were of Arletta and our days of growing up together. I remember Allen taking us to church. It is so comforting to know Arletta made her calling and election sure. It won't be long, much sooner than most imagine that we can reunite with sleeping love ones! Maranatha!

Dearest Dorris and Family,

Please know that my prayers are lifted to heaven for your peace and comfort. Just a few weeks ago, I thought to call Arletta, as we were due for a
'chat'. We would laugh as we reminisced about growing up on 17th Street (in Phila.)and we'd catch up on the present. My comfort will be in those memories and the determination by each of us to hear "well done, good and faithful servant..."

Matthew 5:4 reads, "Blessed are they that mourn for...

To my Dear Deacon Hemphill; words cannot express the sorrow my heart is feeling at this time. May you find comfort in the Master and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

AJ WAS SUCH A SWEET LITTLE JAZZIE LADY, GOD CHOOSES WHO HE WANTS AND WHEN HE WANTS THEM VERY CAREFULLY, AJ'S WORK DOWN HERE WAS DONE, SHE CAN PUT ON HER TRUE ROBE AND CROWN AND WALK AROUND HEAVEN ALL DAY. THANKS "HOLLYWOOD" FOR INTRODUCING ME AND AJ. VIVIAN, BLESSED BY GOD ON A DAILY BASIS.

AJ was a great friend and coworker. I will miss her dearly. May God comfort her loved ones now and in the months to come.
