Barbara and Michael are often in my thoughts, especially of late. She was one of the kindest people I´ve ever known. My Barbara always looked forward to seeing her at MDS events. The world is a better place from having her in it. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Mike and their daughters.

Hi Mike, I can't believe it's been two years already. Yankee is not the same without her. Laurie is always asking me how you are doing, and that she misses their get-togethers. Glad to see you are doing well. Talk soon...David

As a new employee interpreting for two deaf boys, Barbara was a great support for me.
She was my impetus to go to college and become a speech pathologist.
I transferred to Westfield State and using my background from my previous college, I became a
teacher in the PPSS. Thanks, Barbara for pushing me along.

Michael, this was such an incalculable loss for our family. In the short time that we were so fortunate to have known her, we saw her warmth and her grace. She will always be a part of our hearts.

Michael & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Barbara's passing. I first met Barbara at Stearns Elementary School. She was always so gentle and kind. I often saw Barbara and Michael when I was out taking a walk and always enjoyed chatting with her. She was a very special person and touched so many children's lives. I am very sorry for your loss.
