Barry will be missed. I don't think I can express how sorry I am for your loss. He was a great man, father, husband, and grand father. I don't think those girls could have asked for a better coach. The Northmont soccer family has lost a great coach and friend.
Sincerely,
Jamie, Lisa, and Peyton Fannin

I started working at U.S. Design in high school and learned alot about tool design form Berry. He was the nicest & funniest parson there, he made it enjoyable to go to work.

The young soccer players have suffered a great loss. Not only as their coach but as someone who truly cared about them as young people. Soccer at Northmont will never be the same. I have known Barry since our boys played baseball together and now he was coaching Scott's daughter, Savanna. He made soccer important to her. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Barry and I were coaches together in the NUSA Soccer Club. Funny thing is that both of our teams were also called NUSA Fire. My son, a Northmont senior this year, has very fond memories of talking to Barry and joking back and forth about how the High School boys and girls teams were doing. My daughter joined on to Barry's NUSA Fire team this past fall and loved every minute of it. Both of my children will miss him very much. As for me, I had the opportunity to talk with him many times...

Barry was my sisters coach and also mine. He has been there ever since i was born. He got to watch me play my first season of high school soccer, it means so much that he got to see that one game. He will surly be missed.

Barry's patience, sense of humor, and love of both soccer and children were great gifts that he shared with the Northmont community. Today hundreds of girls and young women, my daughter included, mourn the passing of one of their childhood heroes; what a fitting tribute to a fine man. Our sympathy to Barry's family and many friends.
